1. There is at least one store near the marina that is available for buying any last minute snacks, beer, wine, liquor, or fishing licenses. Fishing licenses can be purchased online before you come.

2. Are there any food issues that we should know about such as allergies or strong preferences? Please let us know at least a week before your trip. Expect many seafood meals straight from the Alaskan waters.
3. Remember, we have a dog and cat onboard. Do not forget any allergy medications that you may need.
4. We may have occasional limited internet connections but do not count on checking your email while we are away from the dock.
5. For true emergencies you can leave the phone number for US Coast Guard Juneau: 907 463-2001. We have a radio on at all times and they can reach us.
6. You should plan to paddle every day except the last day which we reserve as a travel day to make sure we get you to town on time to meet your travel connection.
7. The balance due on your trip can be made with a personal check when you arrive.
