Comfort

Abyssinia has a gourmet galley that turns the catch of the day into delicious evening meals.  The catch of the day usually includes crab, prawns, salmon or halibut, and sometimes all of the above.

There are two queen size (walk around) cabins and one single/double cabin.

   

There are three heads (bathrooms), and two showers.  Most importantly, there is hot water enough for everyone.

A huge gear room provides room to stage and dry your gear.

Surround sound movies, peaceful music or soundless reading are a few of the options available in the comfortable saloon.

Safety

Abyssinia is a 65 foot aluminum trawler equipped with all U.S. Coast Guard required safety equipment and features, including lights, personal flotation devices, first aid kits, bilge pumps and alarms, fire extinguishers (automatic and manual) and bells and horns.

Additionally, Abyssinia is equipped with:

• 6 person life raft
• Life Sling™ Overboard Rescue System
• 16 foot aluminum skiff with a 90 hp engine
• 8 foot rubber dinghy with 15 hp engine
• EPIRB
• 3 fixed and several hand held VHF radios
• Short wave/single side band radio
• Satellite telephone and email
• Navigation equipment including two radars, two depth sounders, paper and computer charts, 3 fixed and one hand held GPS units and autopilot
