Abyssinia is a 65 foot aluminum trawler equipped with all U.S. Coast Guard required safety equipment and features, including lights, personal flotation devices, first aid kits, bilge pumps and alarms, fire extinguishers (automatic and manual) and bells and horns. In 2014 Abyssinia was thoroughly inspected and received the highest safety rating, 5 Stars, from the USCG covering 2015.
