Shore Leave
For the ship's dog ...
Sitka
We just arrived in Sitka, after a ten-day trip from Juneau, via Icy Strait and the outside of Chichagof Island. We'll show you some of it in the coming week. For now, here is the view we had of Taylor Bay (Baird Glacier) as we cruised through Cross Sound.

Glacier Bay Wrap-Up
We had a wonderful time in Glacier Bay. Breaching whales, bears both brown and black, moose, ice, kayaking and hiking. We also caught (and released) our best-yet halibut: 120 lbs. Smaller halibut were less fortunate and found their way to our dinner table and freezer. We leave you with these views from Glacier Bay as we prepare to head toward Sitka.
