Some of them are fixtures, but a lot of them spring up overnight after a rainfall.  In either case, there is nothing like a kayak for exploring them.

The double kayak was more in demand this year than last year.  It isn't as sleek or maneuverable, but teamwork has its advantages.

Ho Humm...

...just another beautiful cove in South East Alaska.  Do we ever get tired of them.  NO WAY!  Neither will you.  There are many places to discover up here and it never fails that when we revisit a favorite location things have changed.  The seasons, the weather and the wildlife make for a very dynamic environment.

Next year we are planning to offer some new trips to new locations in addition to our current favorites.  Stay tuned....

The Big Fish

New for us in 2006 was our permit to be an Alaska Department of Fish and Game Sport Fishing Guide Vessel.  That just means we can all go fishin'!!!  Boy, did Bob go fishing.  I only wish that he had hooked this while in his kayak.  Well..OK...maybe not.  In any event, there was lots of halibut to be eaten and taken home.

Kayaking Without Camping

Most days we paddle a lot...but sometimes we don't.

Rest Assured...

We do not get wet unless we want to get wet...  The weather was so good that we decided to get wet.  A little practice at rescues and rolls was good for all and a lot of fun.  Julie's form is exquisite!
