Having it All
Who says you can't? In the week of our trip between Juneau and Petersburg, we kayaked in ice on one day and went for a swim on another day. Ok, so the swim was in crazy-cold water, but the sun was shining!

This is a highlight of the trip between Juneau and Petersburg. The ice is fantastic and, as an added bonus, humpback whales often feed in the area.

The whales were out in numbers and feeling frisky this summer.
Kayak Mothership Gets Painted
Every once in awhile the bottom needs some paint. Last week we hauled out in Port Townsend to get the job done. We are back in the water now, and back in our winter slip. We have been processing the last of the summer's photos, some of which we'll post next week.
