Here is one from the Archives. This is the biggest salmon I have caught to date. Note that I am not holding it out towards the camera (like I usually do) to make it look larger. You can tell the photo is a few years old because I had a few more hairs on my head! OK...back to kayaking.
Some people are very good at seeing Alaska close up. There are lots of beautiful places to walk when we are not kayaking. We usually have one of our plant identification guides with us. The fallback is to snap a picture and look it up back on the boat. We do our best to know the local plants but no one knows them all! You might learn a few new ones...
...some parts can only be seen by air. One way or another you are likely fly to or from your week spent with us. The flights in Alaska are amazing. It is the best way to see Alaska, second only to seeing Alaska by kayak!
...Do you think she loves Alaska? She must. She has been back 5 times! No trip is the same. We never get tired of it and I cannot imagine that anyone who loves the outdoors and loves to paddle ever would either. Keep Coming!
