Empty Your Bucket List!
On her Bucket List was "to catch a fish larger than 36 inches." We had that taken care of (a 42 inch halibut) in about an hour. We ate well that night!
Chocolate Lillies
They are edible (the roots) but maybe not as sweet as the chocolate that you are used to. They are fun to come across as the are beautiful flowers.
Some Out Of The Way Places in SE Alaska
Meyers Chuck is a popular place for people traveling by boat to stop in. Not much there in terms of commerce (although there is a wonderful gift shop that has local products). No school. No groceries. No fuel. But, there is a Post Office.
